**"Indians" Again Defeated by Paris Last Saturday.**

The hardest fought battle on the local gridiron this season was pulled off Saturday when the "Indians" met Paris in a fast and hotly contested game that ended in a score of 25-0 in favor of Paris.

Coach Wilkins and his team arrived at 8:45 and were escorted to the hotel and later taken on a hike to the Old Fort by the local boys.

The game was called at 4:30 and from that time to the end Paris fought for every inch they gained. The Fort Towson team was the lighter but put up a game defense and an offense that would do credit to older and more experienced men.

A large and enthusiastic crowd witnessed the game.

After supper an informal reception was held at the Hotel Fort. Songs were sung and yells given and everybody had a good time generally.

Prof. Wilkins, who is coach of the Paris team, is a highly educated and cultured young man. He is a graduate of Milliken University and at present is in charge of of the Manual Arts Department of the Paris High School. He has the loyal support of his team.

A feature of the game was the good feeling on both sides and the school spirit displayed by the Fort Towson boys and girls. The Paris boys went away declaring that they had had a royal good time and leaving a friendly challenge to come and try it over some time.

Prof. Posey of Hugo, who refereed the game, remained over until Sunday as the guest of "Heavy" Wilson. Jude Sansing acted as umpire and Johnson as head linesman.
